Recently, Julia Roberts was spotted going makeup-free after finishing up a workout in Los Angeles. The 55-year-old actress dressed casually in a loose gray T-shirt, black leggings and sneakers. With her signature smile on display, Julia appeared relaxed and joyful.

Robert Harling, who wrote the 1987 play of the same name as well as served as screenwriter for the movie adaptation, recently opened up to Closer about why they cast her in the film.

"There was no question that Julia was magic when she walked into the room," Robert recalled of the impression Julia gave during auditions. "I don't think Mystic Pizza had even been released yet, so she was definitely the new kid on the block."

Brother  Eric Roberts has overcome quite a bit in his own Hollywood career — and many know him as dad to Julia's niece,  Emma Roberts. As for her sister, the  recently said she thinks of  Lisa Roberts Gillan when she thinks "of kindness." Sadly, the Notting Hill star's other sister, Nancy Motes, passed away in 2014.
