For 10 seasons, Friends dominated television. The show is still being talked about today and the reruns will continue on for years, generation to generation.

What made the show's success that much greater is how close the cast were behind the scenes. However, a particular moment had fans thinking twice...

We're going to take a look back at Jennifer Aniston's second wedding, and who was snubbed an invitation. In addition, we're going to take a closer look at why Matt LeBlanc missed Jen's first wedding, and how he felt about not getting an invitation to her second go at it.

Although some of her castmates were omitted from the wedding, one in particular served as her maid of honor.

Courteney Cox Was Jennifer Aniston's Maid Of Honor During Her Second Wedding

Jennifer Aniston's second wedding was much smaller compared to her ceremony with Brad Pitt. There were 75-guests at the wedding which took place alongside Justin Theroux in 2015.

The invite list did leave a lot of curiosity, especially for those in the media. Aniston's former castmates from Friends were split, with the girls getting an invite, while the guys did not. Courteney Cox played an important role at the wedding, serving as Aniston's maid of honor. For Jen, this was an easy decision based on how close the two are behind the scenes.

Aniston revealed alongside E Online, "There's absolutely no judgment in Court. You'll never feel scolded. She's extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving."

"I've slept in her guest bedroom a lot," Aniston admits. "Without giving away too much of my private stuff, all I can say is she's been there for me through thick and thin."

Lisa Kudrow was also at the wedding and agreed with Aniston's perspective on Cox.

"There's no agenda. There's no guile. There's no game. You can trust her completely and fully," she says. "Whether I see Courteney every week or once a year, it doesn't matter. I know who she is, and I know where I stand."

Friends fans are likely extremely delighted to see how close the girls are. However, there was some controversy, as a few cast members did not get an invitation to the wedding.

Matt LeBlanc Was Forced To Turn Down Jennifer Aniston's Wedding Invite, But None Of The Guys Were Invited For The Second Wedding

Speaking alongside People, Matt LeBlanc addressed the situation, revealing that things were just fine with Aniston at the time. However, LeBlanc did reveal that Aniston was not too pleased when he couldn't make it to her first wedding with Brad Pitt.

"I missed when she married Brad [Pitt]," he said. "I was in Austria working. She called me, and she was like, 'You're really not coming to my wedding?' And I was like, 'I asked them if they could change the schedule. I would fly and clap and fly out.' And they said, 'We can't do it. It's too tight.' It was a small-budget movie in Austria you've never heard of. Probably should have left anyway, but s— happens. What are you going to do?"

Although LeBlanc was snubbed an invite for the second wedding, he kept things positive assessing the couple.

"I think they're a great couple. I think she's happy. And that's all I care about is that Jen's happy. If she wanted me there, I would have been there."

He continues, "Jen's like my little sister," he said. "Courteney [Cox] and Lisa [Kudrow] are like my big sisters, but Jen's like my little sister. Matthew's like my little brother, and David [Schwimmer]'s like my big brother. That's how it all broke down. And it's literally just like chronological."

Matthew Perry also commented that he was surprised to hear about the wedding, but also happy for the couple. David Schwimmer was the only cast member that declined to issue a statement.

Way back in 1995, Jennifer Aniston revealed alongside People to being a little more skeptical about Matt LeBlanc compared to the rest of the cast.

"I was scared of that type of guy," she revealed back then.

Of course, getting to know the actor throughout the years, her opinion changed, and the two grew close to one another.

The two also had a romantic relationship on-screen during Friends, but both were not into the idea.

"Joey is many things: He's a womaniser; he is into his food; but he's also a very loyal friend. So Joey would never go for Rachel because that would be devastating for Ross. But in this case they went for it because, I guess, they thought they would get some interesting storylines," Courteney Cox revealed about the storyline.

Both stars tried to nix the plans, but it still took place and thankfully for fans, it was brief.
