Jennifer Aniston in an interview finally gave her opinion that Rachel green was meant to be with Ross Geller in F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S is probably one of the most popular TV Sitcoms ever created and even after ending almost a decade ago the reruns are still going strong on numerous TV channels. It is probably the most watched and loved TV show that has become a staple diet and popular culture for the young generation. Rachel, Ross, Monica, Joey, Chandler and Phoebe are like our very own best friends and everyone wants their gang to be like these beloved six fictional characters who have managed to spin a magic in the hearts of its viewers. Recently a fan tweeted a 100-tweet argument that Rachel's pairing with Ross was wrong and she should ideally be with Joey. However, this fan's theory was refuted by Jennifer Aniston who played Rachel Green in F.R.I.E.N.D.S in a recent interview.

The world is divided into two groups of people the first which swear by Rachel-Ross pairing and the second who ship Rachel-Joey as the inevitable couple. A Twitter thread recently went viral where the user gave us 100 reasons why Rachel should have ended up with Joey instead of Ross Geller. Many fans agreed with the theory as well.

However, Jennifer Aniston in a recent interview that she gave to Elle disappointed numerous Joey and Rachel fans and said that Ross and Rachel were meant to be together and the Joey-Rachel relationship was only momentary. She said in the interview, "I think there was a moment when Joey and Rachel got together that maybe it could happened, but it didn't. It was Ross and Rachel all the way. I really believe that if there's an afterworld of Friends, they're still thriving. Don't you? I just don't think Joey and Rachel could have made it. I think it was more physical than emotional with them. They were friends with benefits, and they left it at that."The debate is endless and the fans will keep on arguing over who would have been the ideal soul mate for Rachel – Joey or Ross.
