5 Beautiful Songs You Didn’t Know Rihanna Wrote for Other Artists
2023/06/30

At 34, Rihanna has built a music and business empire. The pop icon just earned her ninth Grammy for “Loyalty” with Kendrick Lamar. Her 2017 hit “We Found Love” achieved diamond status. Known for frequently collaborating, Rihanna has worked with artists like Eminem, Coldplay and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Rihanna founded beauty brand Fenty and fashion house Fenty in 2019. Already the world's wealthiest female musician, her ventures made Rihanna the youngest self-made billionaire at $1.4 billion. "The thing that keeps me alive and passionate is being creative," Rihanna said.

Penning most of her own music, Rihanna holds 14 No.

1 hits and success in genres from reggae to EDM.  "Music led me to these outlets, and to things that I genuinely love," she said. Rihanna is involved in all aspects of her brands, from product development to marketing.

Despite fame, Rihanna stays close with childhood friends in Barbados. She founded the Clara Lionel Foundation to improve education and healthcare in impoverished communities globally.

At the pinnacle of music stardom, Rihanna became a style icon and shrewd businesswoman. But her Caribbean roots keep her humble. "I never thought I'd make this much impact," Rihanna said. Her ambition and vision show that with hard work, anything is possible.

After 15 years of pop dominance, Rihanna's passion and creativity remain boundless. Her reign appears far from over.

Here's a look at five songs Rihanna wrote for other artists.
