Even in a room full of scientists of his own level, he was portrayed in a way that made people believe he was the know-it-all.

Besides, even if we just stick to science, she has her own Ph.D. in neuroscience, which is an equally impressive achievement.

Fortunately, Sheldon and Amy balance each other perfectly and can work in symbiosis, so there is no real need to compare their intellectual viewpoints.
