Pop icon Rihanna is taking her real estate portfolio to new heights. The Barbadian singer recently purchased a $21.15 million penthouse in Century City, Los Angeles, previously owned by Friends star Matthew Perry.

Rihanna's new penthouse spans the entire 17th floor of the Century Condominiums, a 42-story tower completed in 2009. With 5,230 square feet of living space and 360-degree views of the city skyline, the contemporary home features four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the open-plan living areas with natural light.

Growing family: Pregnant Rihanna ensured her family has plenty of room to grow by purchasing the 40th-floor penthouse in the same building, where she already owns a three-bedroom, 3,500-square-foot home; seen last month

More room: Ahead of the birth of her second child , the expectant singer, 35, bought a sprawling condo, previously owned by Matthew Perry, that 'is more than double the size of her previous one, spanning a whopping 9,290 square feet with four bedrooms and six-and-a-half baths,' according to Architectural Digest

Twice the size: Despite its steep listing price of $28 million, she was able to negotiate it down to $21 million, which is $600,000 less than the owner, Afterpay co-founder Nick Molnar, paid the Friends star, 53, for it back in 2021

The purchase comes amid a whirlwind year for Rihanna. She recently announced her first pregnancy with partner A$AP Rocky and completed filming as Smurfette in an upcoming Smurfs animated film.
