The cast of The Big Bang Theory was honored with a handprint ceremony outside Hollywood's TCL Chinese Theatre. Parsons, who played Sheldon Cooper, spoke of the "life-changing 12 years" he spent with his castmates. He expressed immense gratitude for the relationships and memories built over 279 episodes. Cuoco recalled that at the beginning of the show, the cast hoped to make it to syndication, around 100 episodes. To have surpassed that "by hundreds" was a dream come true, she said.

Galecki, who portrayed Leonard Hofstadter, choked up while sharing how much the show and cast meant to him. He considered himself "the luckiest person in the world" to have worked with people who over time became his "second family." Helberg and Nayyar highlighted how surreal the experience felt, from the first table read to their final days on set.
