"They seemed to deliberately tank it": Friends Writer Accused Jennifer Aniston and Co-stars for Killing Most Watched Series for a Bizarre Reason That Left Her Frustrated

Jennifer Aniston is an American actress and filmmaker. She became well-known worldwide for her role as Rachel Green in the television comedy Friends, which brought her several awards. She has also acted in films including Cake, Horrible Bosses, and Bruce Almighty. Aniston is a wealthy entrepreneur who runs LolaVie and Echo Films, her own production firm.

But according to recent news and reports, the officials of the sitcom, Friends, blame Jennifer Anniston and her co-stars for the abrupt end of the show. Although the show ran for ten seasons, it could have easily pulled off a couple more as the fan following and support for the show was always sky-high.

Jennifer Aniston Is to Blame for Friends End? Claims Writer

Although there is no one individual to blame for Friends' contentious finale, there were several circumstances that went into its demise. The principal cast members were being paid more than $1 million every episode, which put a tremendous financial strain on the network and made it hard to defend continuing the show. However, many have also attributed the show's cancellation to Jennifer Aniston, claiming that she had other motives.

Aniston was cited as a contributing factor in the show's decision to cease after 10 seasons by one of the show's producers, Marta Kauffman. According to Kauffman, Jennifer Aniston was prepared to leave the show and seek other chances, but she also stated that the actress is not to blame for the show's demise and that it was a natural moment for it to end.

Patty Lin, one of the writers for Friends recently opened up about her time working for the show. She claimed that it was not easy in any way and there were many difficulties the writers had to face as it was one of the biggest TV shows and mistakes could not be afforded. Moreover, in her new book, End Credits: How I Broke Up With Hollywood, Lin claimed that the actors and actresses were not the easiest to work with.

"The actors seemed unhappy to be chained to a tired old show when they could be branching out, and I felt like they were constantly wondering how every given script would specifically serve them. They all knew how to get a laugh, but if they didn't like a joke, they seemed to deliberately tank it, knowing we'd rewrite it."

Lin also shared that the main cast members were not happy with how the show and their characters were running and it led to major problems over time. The actors would often voice their problems to the officials without providing a solution and argue over their character's role. Although the situations were manageable at first, the show slowly turned away from being a sitcom and more of a reality show behind the scenes.

The Rise of Friends in the Hollywood Industry

Hollywood was greatly influenced by Friends both during its run and in the years after it ended. The six major cast members' careers were launched by the sitcom, which was a critical and economic triumph. It immediately rose to prominence as one of the most-watched television shows. The six major cast members of the program gained widespread recognition and enjoyed lucrative careers in Hollywood.

The popularity of Friends contributed to the rise in popularity of the mockumentary genre, a type of cinema that tells a tale through interviews and voiceovers. Although Friends ended in 2004, it is still one of the most seen and cherished sitcoms of all time. The humor, personalities, and portrayal of friendship in the program have all received high praise. It has also been credited with popularising several filmmaking methods and has also given several actors a stage to perform on.

Friends is a great American television classic that will be seen by viewers for many years to come.
