She marked her 19th wedding anniversary with her husband Danny Moder earlier in July.
And Julia Roberts was spotted spending some quality time with the couple's 16-year-old daughter Hazel Moder on Saturday as they stepped out of their hotel in New York City.
The 53-year-old actress looked youthful and comfortable in a relaxed ensemble featuring a black-and-white dress.
On the town: Julia Roberts, 53, was covered up in a gray cardigan and a black-and-white dress as she left her hotel in New York City on Saturday with her daughter Hazel Moder, 16, by her side
The low-key item was enlivened by a frilly skirt, with a second white layer underneath, along with a set of white pants.
Julia dressed down her ensemble with brilliant white sneakers, and she covered up with a gray ribbed cardigan.
She had a large white tote bag slung over one shoulder and a black leather Louis Vuitton handbag over the other, and she covered her face to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus with a flower-print mask.
The Ocean's Eleven star had her strawberry blond locks slightly feathered, and she blocked out the sun with classic black sunglasses.
Simple: Julia paired her two-tone ensemble with low-key white sneakers while carrying a large white tote bag and a black leather Louis Vuitton handbag
Hazel opted for a more casual look with a black-and-white striped shirt and baggy acid wash jeans, while also wearing a mask.
Seemingly missing from the outing were Julia's husband Danny Moder, 52, as well as their sons Phinnaeus, 16, and Henry, 14.
Like his wife, Danny has worked in the film business for decades.
He started out as a production assistant on the action-thriller Crimson Tide in 1995 and has worked as a camera operator and more recently as a cinematographer.
Moder has collaborated with his wife several times, including on 2001's The Mexican, where they first met, as well as the experimental Full Frontal (2002) and the critically derided Mona Lisa Smile (2003).
Later collaborations were less frequent, but he served as cinematographer on her 2008 drama Fireflies In The Garden and again for her 2015 thriller Secret In Their Eyes.
Family: Missing from the outing was her cinematographer husband Danny Moder, 52, and their sons sons Phinnaeus, 16, and Henry, 14. On July 4, the Hollywood couple celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary
The couple, who were spotted having a romantic dinner in the city on Friday night, marked 19 years of marriage on July 4 with dueling Instagram posts.
Julia shared a recent photo of the longtime lovebirds showing her in a flower-print shirt with an orange cat featuring a pigeon on the front, while Danny was shirtless after taking a dip in the ocean.
She wrote: '19 years. Just getting started.'
Danny opted for a throwback to just before the couple tied the knot in 2002 that showed just how little they had aged in nearly 20 years.
'Today we start our 20th year of marriage. This photo was on a dusty road before that big idea … just holding on to this beautiful girl one day at a time. One epic day at a time,' he wrote.
Age-defying: Julia went with a recent photo of the longtime lovebirds, but Danny posted a throwback selfie from just before they tied the knot in 2002
