So Joile's confession at that time must have affected the Friends star severely. However, Aniston didn't shy away from expressing her views on her husband's new affair. She called out Jolie for revealing her relationship with Troy actor.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were once the IT couple of Hollywood. However, unfortunately, their bond didn't last long, and the couple parted ways in 2005. However, later, it was discovered that one year prior to their divorce, Pitt had an affair with Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie.

Initially, the two maintained secrecy about their relationship, but later, during an interview with Vogue, Jolie spilled the beans about her blossoming romance with the Fight Club actor. The duo started forming a connection while filming Mr.

& Mrs. Smith, and during that time Pitt was married to Aniston. During the interview, Jolie revealed,

"We ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened."

Expressing her thrill to work with Pitt, Jolie shared,

"I think a few months in I realized, God, I can't wait to get to work. Whether it was shooting a scene or arguing about a scene or gun practice or dance class or doing stunts – anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork.

While gushing about her relationship with Pitt, Jolie certainly forgot to keep Aniston's feelings in mind. Though Joile's interview came out in 2006, a year after Aniston and Pitt's separation, knowing about Pitt's affair must have triggered Aniston.

Later in 2008, Aniston talked about Jolie's interview, in which she revealed her relationship with Pitt. The Break-up actor criticized Jolie for revealing her personal life with Pitt. During the interview, Aniston blatantly called out Jolie, who publically recounted a detailed timeline of exactly how her relationship developed on the set of Mr.

& Mrs. Smith, while Aniston was still married to and living with Pitt.

Aniston revealed that through Jolie's interview, she got to know that her husband's affair started when they were married. The 54-year-old actress said,

"There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss.

That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool."

Though, after knowing about Pitt's affair, Aniston could have accused him of cheating, no such news ever came out. Moreover, the former couple once clarified to the media that their separation had nothing to do with the rumors.
