Julia recently opened up about how her A-list movie co-star helped her when she was alone in Australia shooting the romantic comedy.
'We were in a bubble, and it's the longest I've ever been away from my family. I don't think I've spent that much time by myself since I was 25,' Roberts said to The New York Times.
Filming took place between November 2021 and February 2022, per The New Zealand Herald.

While Clooney's family - his wife Amal and their twins- was on set, Roberts was solo.
She has been married to Danny Modern, 53, for 20 years. And together they have three children: Hazel and Phinnaeus, who are 17, and Henry, 14.
'We started in Hamilton Island with all these wild birds, and Julia had the house down just below Amal and me and the kids,' Clooney explained.
'I would come out in the early mornings and be like, Caa-caa, and Julia would come out and be like, Caa-caa.

'And then we'd bring her down a cup of coffee. She was Aunt Juju to my kids.'
Roberts' family eventually made it to Australia, but they 'had to fly into Sydney and quarantine for two weeks by themselves before she could see them,' Clooney said.
Julia also joked that 'it took 80 takes' for them to film the single kissing scene in Ticket To Paradise.
While promoting their latest film together, the longtime friends teased that their on-screen smooch took 'like, six months' to perfect.

'Yeah. I told my wife [Amal Clooney], "It took 80 takes,"' the actor told The New York Times. 'She was like, "What the hell?"'
Prompting Roberts to explain: 'It took 79 takes of us laughing and then the one take of us kissing.'
'Well, we had to get it right,' Clooney interjected.
The father-of-two also revealed their roles were 'clearly written' for them by Ol Parker, who originally wrote their characters' names as Georgia and Julian.

'I hadn't really done a romantic comedy since One Fine Day — I haven't succeeded like Julia has in that forum — but I read it and thought, "Well, if Jules is up for it, I think this could be fun,"' he said to the outlet.
Meanwhile, Roberts stated that the movie 'somehow only made sense with' her and Clooney due to their 'chemistry.'
'We have a friendship that people are aware of, and we're going into it as this divorced couple. Half of America probably thinks we are divorced, so we have that going for us,' she quipped.

The film, helmed by the director of Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, is a rom-com about two badly behaved people rediscovering love.
They play exes on a mission to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they did 25 years ago by marrying young.
In the film their characters' daughter Lily (played by Kaitlyn Dever) meets the love of her life on a post-graduation jaunt to Bali, which is where her parents must travel to in order to change her mind.

However, judging by the trailer it looks as though Julia and George's trip to save their daughter ends up being a journey in healing their own problems with each other.
From fighting over being sat next to each other on the same plane, to ending up doing tequila shots and embarrassing their child by dancing - it seems as though there could be a reconciliation on the cards.
Ticket To Paradise is the first time since 2016's Money Monster that George Clooney and Julia Roberts have shared a top billing.
Before that, the pair played an estranged couple in Oceans Eleven and Oceans Twelve. The film also stars some of the brightest young stars in Hollywood.
Keen viewers of the trailer have already identified Bachelor contestent Romy Poulier in a small speaking role as an airline stewardess that gets caught up in the animosity between Clooney and Roberts when they are allocated seats in the same row on the long haul flight to their island destination.
Poulier was known as one of the 'mean girls' vying for the love of Nick 'the Honey Badger' Cummins and has confirmed that she has a small role in the film.
