Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are on their way to becoming parents for the second time. While the two are enjoying each other's company, things seem to be moving on to the next level, as the rapper publicly referred to Rihanna as his 'wife' during a concert. As the crowd went crazy, Rihanna was seen blushing when Rocky made the remark.
While performing at his Spotify Beach concert at the 2023 Cannes Lions Festival, A$AP Rocky gave a shout-out to the 'Diamonds' singer. Before performing his song 'D.M.B.', Rocky went on to announce, "I'd like to dedicate this song to my beautiful wife in the motherf–king building!"
Although there are no reports of the two getting married, Rocky made the remark out of his love for Rihanna. The song also appears to be a dedication to Rocky's love for RiRi. The music video ends with a visual showing Rihanna in a red veil, getting married.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky seem to be head over heels for each other. A few days before the concert, the couple was seen at the Paris Fashion Week in a coordinated denim outfit. The event was held to celebrate Pharrell Williams' new role as the creative director of men's wear for Louis Vuitton.
The couple was also seen expressing love to each other on Father's Day. The rapper took to Instagram and posted a series of photos with Rihanna and their son RZA. He captioned the post "Everyday Fathers Day." The series also included a picture of Rocky kissing Rihanna's baby bump.
Rihanna was prompt to show her love for the rapper. In a comment, the singer wrote, "The Mayers boys stole my whole heart! Happy Father's Day nerd." Rocky also posted a series of the family of three on RZA's first birthday. Writing about naming his son after Wu-Tang Clan member RZA, the rapper wrote, "WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN.' HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN . RZA."
Rihanna seems to be committed to making a positive change to ensure climate protection. The singer took to Twitter and wrote to the US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and World Bank chief Ajay Banga. In a tweet, she requested them to make bold commitments to finance and debt reforms.
In the public appeal, the 'Rube Boy' singer asked, "Will you join Mia Mottley [Barbados' Prime Minister] and step up for communities hit the hardest by climate emergencies?" She also wrote that she is doing her part and it was time they did theirs. The singer wrote, "I address climate change [with Clara Lionel Foundation]—now it;s your turn." She also attached a link to a platform run by the social change organization, Global Citizen, which contained information on climate crisis.
The singer is known for her social work, apart from her power-packed performances. Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation has donated over €13 million to climate justice in 2022.
