A$AP Rocky revealed that he loves being a dad.

The rapper, 34, welcomed a son with pop star Rihanna, 34, in May last year and has now admitted that fatherhood has given him a 'whole new perspective' on his creative ventures.   

'I can't even explain it, man. You come home to heaven every day. I'm so thankful. God is good, man,' the musician - who made a splash at the Golden Globe Awards last week with Rihanna - said in an interview on Apple Music 1 with Zane Lowe.

'It's just one of those things. I'm a member of our club now, like, the dad club. You see a dad, you see me…I'm a full dad now,' he went on.

'Being outside and working and being creative, it drives more energy for you to obviously to think and soak things up like a sponge now that I'm a dad, because I have a whole 'nother perspective,' he added.

'But it honestly helps you get home to your family and get home to your baby,' Rocky continued. 

'Heaven': The rapper, 34 - who welcomed his baby boy with the singer, 34, in May, said: 'I can't even explain it, man.

The couple have not yet revealed the name of their son publicly, but Rihanna did share an adorable first video of the little boy to her TikTok.

A$AP Rocky also expressed how excited he is for his partner to have her musical comeback and return to the stage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February.

The performance comes ahead of the release of her ninth studio album after she spent the last seven years focusing on her Fenty Beauty brands.

Rihanna has not released a studio album since her hit 2016 album Anti, which also garnered some of the best reviews of her career.

He admitted that he is 'super excited' to see the Umbrella hitmaker back on stage again, describing her comeback as 'incredible'.

'I'm super excited. This is as huge. This is incredible. I'm so glad that my lady's back making music again and whatnot, and getting back out there. It's just incredible…I'm more excited than everybody else, honestly.

Rocky has been without a new album for almost as long as his love, as his last LP was 2018's Testing. However, he's also working on a new release now, and on Wednesday he unveiled his latest single, Same Problems.

Both the rapper and the Barbados born beauty seem to feel the same about their bundle of joy, after a source recently shared with People that motherhood suits her.

'Rihanna loves being a mom. She is obsessed with her baby boy,' shared the insider.

The insider also said Rocky is 'very involved as well and a great dad.'

In early 2020, rumors started circulating that the pair were dating although they have collaborated multiple times in the years leading up.

 Rihanna also starred in his Fashion Killa music video in the same year.

By November 2020, an insider revealed to People that the longtime friends had officially become an item.

In an interview with GQ in 2021, Rocky talked about being a father one day after calling Rihanna 'the love of [his] life' and 'the one'.
